Raw Material


Analyses of Fe alloys are mainly performed by re-melting in an HF oven, according to specially developed methods. (Ref JK-method re-melting of Fe alloys.) C, S, N, O and H are analysed according to ASTM 1019 mod, a combustion technology. Elements: See Fe base. Limited number of analyses per alloy. Sample size min 50 g Additional cost for crushing, splitting and milling will be required

Accredited method for carbon in ferrochrome, ferromanganese and ferrosilicone.

  • Low carbon, up to 0,5 % C
  • Medium carbon, up to 6 % C
  • High carbon, up to 8,5 % C
  • Extra high carbon, up o 9,5 % C
